牛津的學生慈善組織TravelAid，為籌措提供志工到第三世界國家服務的費用，有了拍裸體月曆的想法。

TravelAid取得校方同意，在風景優美的牛津校園取景，約60名學生充當模特兒

全裸入鏡，以物品或姿勢巧妙遮住...........

圖書館苦讀，弦樂四重奏練習，畢業典禮後開香檳慶祝，漫步校園，宿舍談心或酒吧小酌等。

當然 都是裸體照。 

這些黑白照片捕捉了學生們日常生活中運動、學習、聚會以及戀愛的多個瞬間。

這個構想曾出現在真實故事改編的電影「辣嬤寫真」（Calendar Girls）中

為籌募興建當地醫院的費用，突發奇想拍攝裸體寫真，意外熱賣，但也引來保守及衛道人士批評。

一位沒有具名的牛津某學院院長說：「這是我們那個年代不會發生的事，我一看到照片馬上臉紅。

不過學生們玩得很開心，又是為了做公益，那就值得了。」
